There is something hauntingly beautiful about the cold ocean washing at the shores of a hot, dry desert, its dunes a frozen parody of the waves... even somewhat ironic!
The Namib-Naukluft National Park consist of such a desert, and lies along the interminably bleak, fog-haunted coast of Namibia.
This wild, arid, lonely region ....bounded in the north and east by the great loop of the lower Gariep (Orange) River.... is intimidating in its vast emptiness, its northern parts distinguished by jagged mountain ranges and weird, wind-sculpted rock formations that combine to create landscapes of haunting beauty.

Final arrangements have been made for the trip to Mozambique. Many of the roads that we will be travelling on, are 'off-road' dirt roads, however nothing to extreme that the trailers won't easily traverse, so please bring your trailers for camping.
